Frequently asked questions
Short, direct answers.
What is WaveMatch?
An independent configurator for RF and microwave test & measurement instruments. You describe your measurement; WaveMatch returns concrete configurations — model, options and accessories — from several manufacturers, with the points that still need checking.
Is WaveMatch really independent?
Yes. No manufacturer pays for placement or influences the ranking. Proposals are based only on technical data from original datasheets, manuals and manufacturer documentation.
Which instruments are in the database?
Currently 70 instruments in about 180 configurations — including signal generators, spectrum and signal analyzers, vector network analyzers and RF power meters. The database grows continuously.
Who is WaveMatch for?
Distributors, whose sales teams get a version tailored to their own portfolio; procurement departments and public bodies writing performance-based tenders; and researchers who need a measurement setup of two or more instruments.
Can I find an equivalent to an instrument I already have?
Yes. Enter the model and its configuration, and WaveMatch shows comparable instruments on the market — useful for second sources, replacements and tenders.
Are my queries stored?
No. The platform does not retain your query data and is operated in compliance with the GDPR. Details you send through the contact form are used only to process your request — see the privacy policy.
How much does it cost?
Licences are per user per month in three tiers — M, L and XL — with lower prices for more users. See pricing. For distributors, tailoring to the portfolio is quoted individually.
